Purpose

This special tool is designed specifically for Yamaha XTO Offshore V8 outboards (425 hp and 450 hp models, like the XF425/XF450). It enables in-water lower unit (gearcase) gear lube changes using the factory quick-connect ports located under the cowling, without needing to pull the boat out of the water or use the traditional drain/fill screws on the gearcase.

• Includes adapters/quick-disconnect fittings (standard 1/4" ISO-B hydraulic style) that connect to the engine's built-in gear oil exchange lines.
• Allows you to pump out old lube and pump in new Yamaha gear lube (typically Yamalube HD Gear Lube) while the boat is still in the water.
