Digits following the Yamaha motor model code represent the beginning manufacturing date.For example, "0909" indicates
that the motor would have a manufacturing date beginning in September of 2009.If you do not know the manufacturing date you
can find this information on the same label as your motor model and serial
number.
Not sure what your manufacturing date is? Give us a call at 888-231-2392 with your serial number. You can find your serial number on the ID sticker near your bracket. Serial numbers begin with a "6", i.e. 6XX-X-XXXXXXXX.
